Summer Zeta University (Summer Zeta U or SZU) is Zeta’s multi-week professional development and training series, where the entire organization comes together to invest in our mission and vision and recommit to our values and adult culture. School leaders and teachers engage in highly focused, concrete training sessions with differentiated learning opportunities based on role, experience, and skills.

When is SZU?

Accepted Answer

Your first day of SZU is dependent on your role. If you have any questions, please refer to the start date listed on your offer letter. 
 • July 9th - New School Leaders (Principals, Assistant Principals, Resident Assistant Principals)
 • July 28th - New Teachers, School Psychologists, Student Achievement Team
 • Note that start dates for new School-based Operations Teammates and new Network staff will vary by position. Please reach out to your manager with any questions.

Where is SZU?

SZU will be starting at Zeta Inwood, located at 401 W 218th Street, New York, NY 10034.

Do I have to attend SZU?

Accepted Answer

Attendance at SZU is MANDATORY.

No exceptions will be made. Please be sure to schedule summer moving and travel plans accordingly!
